Product Overview

The Allen-Bradley 1794-IRT8 FLEX I/O™ Hybrid Temperature Module delivers precision thermocouple (TC) and RTD measurements for industrial process control. Designed for Rockwell's distributed FLEX platform, this IP67-rated module features dual 24-bit delta-sigma ADCs and supports 8 configurable channels (mix RTD/TC types per channel). Its epoxy-sealed housing (-40°C to +70°C) withstands high-pressure washdowns, chemicals, and corrosive atmospheres. Integrated cold junction compensation (CJC) achieves ±0.25°C accuracy, while galvanic isolation (1,500V AC channel-to-backplane) eliminates ground loops. Studio 5000® enables auto-configuration of sensor types, scaling, and NAMUR NE43 diagnostics for predictive maintenance.
