The 3‑2850‑61 is the universal-mount variant of Signet's 2850 sensor electronics, supplying a Digital (S³L) output via a universal-base junction box that bolts to pipe, wall, or tank-top—unlike the -51's ¾″ NPT j-box.
Key features include: 12-24 VDC (loop) or 5-6.5 VDC (S³L) power supply, ±2% of reading accuracy, <600 ms update time, NEMA 4X/IP65 rating, EasyCal™ auto-recognizes test solutions, and cable to electrode ≤4.6 m (to 9900/8900 ≤30 m).
Feeds a drift-free S³L conductivity signal to a Signet 8900 (up to 6 sensors) or 9900 for RO/DI quality interlocks, cooling-tower blowdown, boiler condensate, scrubber liquor, and aquatic life-support loops.
The universal base suits retrofit applications where NPT tee isn't available, and S³L digital eliminates analog drift over ≤120 m runs—no separate transmitter needed if 8900/9900 is already in the loop.
