Hot-Tap Metal Magmeter — 316L SS, 9.3″ Depth, ISO Thread, Detachable Turck Connector, Freq/S³L Output

 

The +GF+ Signet 3‑2552‑22‑B‑11​ is an insertion-style Metal Magmeter​ with all-316L stainless steel​ construction (PVDF nosepiece, FKM O-rings) for conductive-liquid flow measurement in DN50–DN2550 (2–102″)​ pipes. Key parameters: flow range 0.05–10 m/s, linearity ±1% reading +0.1% FS, repeatability ±0.5%, min. conductivity 20 µS/cm, 20.7 bar @ 25°C, –15…+85 °C​ media temp. The ‑22​ code specifies a 9.3″ (237 mm) insertion depth​ with a 1¼" ISO​ process thread; the ‑B‑11​ means a Turck NEMA 6P detachable waterproof connector​ (cable ordered separately, 4 m / 6 m) and Frequency or Digital S³L output​ (5–24 VDC / 5–6.5 VDC).

 

Automation Role — Hot-Tap Service, Output Chain & Typical Use

 

Its core function is a noise-immune flow signal​ for pump protection, flow-proportional dosing, totalization, and municipal/industrial SCADA​ — the S³L digital​ path feeds a Signet 8900/9900/9950​ (multi-channel), while frequency​ ties to 8550/5075/5500/5600​ or a PLC high-speed counter. Because it's hot-tap capable​ (via isolation ball valve, max install 20.7 bar / ≤40 °C), the probe inserts/removes without shutting down flow. Typical use: municipal water distribution, WW treatment, process & coolant loops, chemical-processing bypasses, and mining water​ — anywhere you need a no-moving-parts, corrosion-proof magmeter​ in large or hard-to-drain lines. LEDs give empty-pipe / normal / error​ status at a glance, and the 3‑0252 tool​ lets you tune every performance feature on-site.
