Vented Hydrostatic Level Sensor — PVDF / Ceramic, Digital S³L Output
The +GF+ Signet 3‑2250‑11L is a submersible hydrostatic level sensor that converts liquid head into a stable Digital S³L signal for tank/pit depth monitoring. Key parameters: range 0–3.4 bar (0–50 psi; ~35 m/115 ft), ±1% FS accuracy, response <100 ms, 15–85 °C, ¾″ NPT process thread, and 10 m shielded 3‑conductor cable with vent capillary. Its wetted path uses PVDF body, ceramic diaphragm, FKM for strong chemical compatibility while the vented capillary compensates atmospheric pressure changes.
Typical Automation Role — Pump Control, Inventory & Alarms
The sensor feeds level data directly to Signet 9900/8900/9950 or a PC configuration tool (3‑0252) so the control layer can run pump start/stop, high/low alarms, tank inventory, and overflow protection in water, wastewater, and light‑chemical services. Advantages include foam/vapor immunity of static pressure measurement, corrosion‑resistant PVDF/ceramic build, and a long‑cable, maintenance‑light design that keeps 24/7 loops reliable without float mechanisms or moving parts.
