The MTL5523 is a compact, 4-channel isolated barrier module engineered to provide intrinsic safety for analog I/O signals in Zone 0/IIC/T4 hazardous environments. Certified to ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU (II 1G Ex ia IIC T4, Certificate IECEx BAS 21.0001) and IECEx (IECEx BAS 21.0001), it ensures safe operation by limiting energy to 28V/93mA/0.65W per channel, while supporting Um=250V for high-voltage compatibility.

High-Density, Configurable Signal Processing

Its modular design features four independent isolated channels, each configurable for 4-20mA input/output, thermocouple/RTD input, or voltage input (0-10V), eliminating the need for multiple single-channel modules. With a transmission accuracy of ±0.05% linearity and ±0.01%/°C temperature stability, it outperforms comparable solutions with superior accuracy and multi-channel flexibility.
