Its isolated design ensures galvanic separation between hazardous area inputs (10 kΩ impedance) and safe area outputs (<20 Ω impedance), protecting control systems from ground loops and voltage surges. With ATEX (II 1 GD Ex ia IIC T4-T6) and IECEx certifications, it operates reliably in explosive gas atmospheres while maintaining compliance with FM and UL standards for Class I, Div. 1 environments.
