The MTL3011 is a high-reliability single-channel proximity detector relay engineered for Zone 0/1/21/22 hazardous environments, delivering intrinsic safety (IS) and advanced signal conditioning. Part of Eaton's MTL3000 series, it supports NAMUR/DIN 19234-compliant sensors and provides 250Vrms isolation between hazardous-area inputs, safe-area outputs, and power supply, safeguarding against ground loops and voltage transients.
Equipped with fail-safe relay outputs (0.5A/35V DC), the MTL3011 offers configurable response modes, including maintaining the last valid state or de-energizing during faults, aligning with SIL 2 requirements. Its ATEX/IECEx certification (Baseefa EX 85B2052) and Um=250V rating allow deployment in explosive gas/dust atmospheres, while the -20°C to +60°C operating range ensures stability in extreme climates.
