The +GF+ Signet 3‑2850‑51‑40V​ is an integral-mount conductivity/resistivity sensor system​ combining 2850 smart sensor electronics​ with a 2840 electrode (cell constant K=0.1 cm⁻¹)​ in a PVDF/Hastelloy C​ wetted construction. Key specs: range 0–1,000 µS/cm, accuracy ±2% of reading, update <600 ms, 12–24 VDC​ power, Digital (S³L) output​ at 9600 bps, EasyCal​ auto-recognition, NEMA 4X/IP65, and ¾″ FNPT​ process connection for submersible or inline installation.

 

Automation Role — Where Used & Core Function

 

It delivers a temperature-compensated conductivity (or resistivity) signal​ to Signet 9900/8900​ controllers or a PLC/DCS for RO/DI quality interlocks, rinse-cycle acceptance, regeneration triggers, and TDS/alarm logging. Typical use: RO permeate monitoring, DI water loops, boiler/condensate control, neutralization support, and scrubber liquor tracking​ in the mid-purity range. The PVDF/HC corrosion-resistant build + S³L digital link​ prevents analog drift over long cable runs (up to 120 m / 400 ft) while EasyCal​ keeps field calibration audit-friendly and fast.
