This blind (no‑display) insertion‑style electromagnetic flow sensor measures conductive‑liquid flow in ½–4″ lines with no moving parts and no pressure drop. Key parameters: 0.05–10 m/s, linearity ±1% reading +0.1% FS, repeatability ±0.5%, min. conductivity 20 µS/cm, 24 VDC loop / 5–24 VDC freq / 5–6.5 VDC S³L, NEMA 4X / IP65, PVDF + Hastelloy‑C wetted path with FKM, plus empty‑pipe detection for safer automation loops.
Where It’s Used, What It Does & Why It Helps
It feeds a stable 4–20 mA / frequency / S³L flow signal to PLC/DCS or Signet 8900/9900 for pump protection, flow‑proportional dosing, totalization, and alarms in chemical processing, WW/municipal water, scrubber/neutralization, and metal‑recovery/leachate lines. Advantages: corrosion‑resistant PVDF/Hastelloy, bi‑directional sensing, and a low‑maintenance mag‑principle that stays reliable even in dirty, abrasive, or aggressive media.
